Jacques Rancière Paris
Born 1940 in Algiers, lives in Paris, emeritus professor in aesthetics and politics at the University Paris VIII where he taught from 1969 to 2000. Jacques Rancière published numerous books on Political Theory, contributed to various exhibition catalogues and wrote extensively on cinema, notably in "Les Cahiers du Cinéma" and "Trafic".
