Hemma Schmutz Wien/Salzburg
Born 1966 in Klagenfurt, Austria. Lives in Vienna and Salzburg. Studied Art History and German in Vienna. From 1994-1997 director of Depot. Art and Discussion, Vienna Museumsquartier in cooperation with Stella Rollig; since 1998 assistant curator at the Generali Foundation, Vienna; curator of various exhibition projects. She teaches at der Akademie der Künste and at the Technical University in Vienna. She has published texts in numerous magazines, including "Springerin". Beginning March 2005 she will overtake the position of director of the Salzburger Kunstvereins.
